Biography
Brian Reckas certainly knows how to win the race for his clients. With more than 45 years associated with the legal profession, including 15 years in Johannesburg and the last 30 years in Melbourne, Brian has established a reputation for delivering practical, commercially focused advice and achieving successful outcomes.
Throughout his career, Brian has developed extensive experience in mortgage and securities documentation and has worked with major bank and corporate lenders on a wide range of financing transactions. He has also provided guidance and oversight across a broad range of property-related matters, including adverse possession, retirement village law and conveyancing.
Brian is a member of Doxa, an organisation dedicated to providing holiday camps and educational opportunities for disadvantaged Victorian youth.
Outside the office, Brian has a long-standing interest in horse racing and is a member of the Flemington, Caulfield and Moonee Valley race clubs. When not assisting clients and colleagues, he can often be found trackside following the sport he enjoys.
