If you are an Australian citizen or permanent resident, you may be able to sponsor your family to live in Australia. At Parke Lawyers our immigration lawyers specialise in migration law and we can help you with family migration, including giving you expert legal advice and assisting you throughout the process.

Partner Visa Options

If you are a spouse of an Australian citizen, or permanent resident, you may be eligible for a partner category visa. Other eligibility requirements include being a fiancée or a de facto partner of an Australian citizen, or permanent resident.

If you apply for a visa, you can either apply from within Australia, or from outside Australia. If you apply from within Australia, you may qualify for a temporary partner visa (Subclass 820) or a permanent visa (Subclass 801). If you apply from outside Australia, you may qualify for a provisional partner visa (Subclass 309) or a permanent visa (Subclass 100).

You may also qualify for a prospective marriage visa (Subclass 300) if you intend to travel to Australia and marry an Australian citizen. As leading immigration lawyers in Melbourne, we can advise you on the type of visa you may apply for as well as what the requirements are.
