Outside interests:

Brendan has broad music interests, ranging from Baroque, such as Glenn Gould playing Bach, to relatively modern, including Gyorgi Ligeti’s choral music and Megadeth. Brendan enjoys playing piano and listening to others. His favourite pianists include Leopold Godowsky, Jorge Bolet, Vladimir Horowitz, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Teddy Wilson, Sonny Clark, Ray Charles, McCoy Tyner, Nicky Hopkins, Leon Russell, Keith Emerson and Keith Jarrett.
